Atte.

“What I will love to get like a surfer”
Surfing made a big step in my life. It’s my life style, can surf it is a gift from God, and I’m really thankful of God and of course of my family for had gave me the support to practice this amazing sport who changed my life.
Having legs and arms for practice this sport is just wonderful, the ocean, the waves, the friends that you can meet, all the people who is involved in this, are just some things that people who are in-between of this life style would explain.
I love surfing and I will never stop surfing.
Now I got my family and my school support for let me study and surf and that let me get the balance.
If you guys will ask me how is the surfer stereotype?
For me the surfer stereotype definitely need to be a good surfer inside and outside the water.
Now I got an Adio Shoes company sponsor. They give me clothes and shoes, but not money, I’m not saying that I’m disappointed of my sponsor but you know, money it is really important for travel and stuff. I was 9 when I stared surfing and my dad until now stills paying for all my trips and contest. He always is trying to get some money for contest and trips, but never had good luck on it.
I’m a really chill surfer, I got the things really clear, and I know what is good and what is not.
About my future… Well like an every single young surfer I will love to be a world champion, being on the Foster WCT tour each year, having a lot of new boards, travel etc... That’s my competitive dream.
But my most important goal definitely is that my name: Tomas Villegas will be remembered around the world like an amazing person, humble and professional of course, inside and outside the water. And also remembered like a person who did influence in most of the young surfers coming out in the future, like a hero and an example to follow forever. And also That Chile wills always being remembered for them surfers, for his humble and for the love that this country feels for the sickest sport ever... I will love to hear that in the future.
Tomas Villegas.
